(Wo)man Down
I made it safely back to Swell via the cargo ship, but my luck fell short upon my return. I ate a fish contaminated with ciguaterra poisoning last Sunday and have been extremely ill for the last few days. The good news is that I’m healthy enough to have walked across the boatyard to the internet station to write this! The worst is over and I’ll get better gradually over the next few weeks…I have very limited internet connection and energy for the moment, so please be patient for emails and the many stories that are in line to be posted…
In the meantime, stay inspired and remember to appreciate your health!! xoxo, Liz

Sorry to hear of the bad fish, but glad to hear you’re mending. Feel better and thanks for all you do for those of us temporarily landlocked.

July 26, 2011You are a very lucky lady – ciguatera poisoning is very often fatal. Being fit and healthy probably gave you a better outcome than, say, me? I’ve been reading these for years but this latest one disturbed me to comment at last.
